Welcome to Eagle Owls and the Spring Term
I wanted to share an overview of what is happening in Eagle Owls this term. Below, you will find a snapshot of what we are learning in each subject.
Homework is a regular and important part of school life, but it is not intended to cause stress for you or your child. Your support with any homework that is set is greatly appreciated. Red folder homework will currently be set on Fridays.
Your child will also complete weekly spelling tests. Practice sheets will be sent home each week in their purple folders. The weekly spellings will also be available on www.edshed.com. Children should already have log‑ins for this; please contact me if you need these details. Spelling tests will take place every Thursday.
PE will take place on Tuesdays. On these days, please ensure your child comes to school wearing the correct PE kit. It is also important that they do not wear jewellery, unless it must be covered with a plaster for a specific reason.
Please read with your child as often as possible and ask them questions about the text. If you would like ideas on how to support reading at home, I am always happy to help.
