A Typical Day At Our School

"A typical day at our school involves lots of learning and lots of fun! We are a big family that enjoys spending time together and working hard and doing our best." Year 5 Pupil

The school day runs for 6 hours and 35 minutes. this means the children are in school for 32 hours and 55 minutes a week.

Foundation Stage and Key Stage 1

Breakfast club opens at 7.30am from Monday to Friday in the school hall.  Children can have toast, cereals, bagels and/or milk/fruit juice  before they start the school day. This is run by Premier Education.

8.30 - 8.40 - Arrive at school - reading time

8:40 – 8:55 – Register/reflect and review/busy time

8:55 – 9.20 - Collective worship 

9.20 - 10.15 - Session 1

10:15 – 10.25 - Play time

10:30 - 12.00 - Session 2

12.00 - 12.30 - Lunch time

12.30 - 2.00 - Session 3

2:00 - 2:15 - Play time

2.15 - 3.15 - Session 4 

After school club runs every school night from 3.15pm until 6.00pm which is run by Premier Education.  To book a place use the online portal.

Key Stage 2

12.30 (Eagle Owls Y5) 12.45 (Tawny Owls Y4) 1.00 (Barn Owls Y3 and Wise Owls Y6) – 3:15 – Sessions 3 and 4
